Tracking your print job

joborder4.pngYour job's status is displayed in the status menu in the upper right-hand corner of the job box (1).

After you create your job, its status will be "job request". At this stage, we are working on creating a price estimate for you. Once an estimate has been created, the job's status will update to "estimate". When you have reviewed and approved the estimate, you may select "approve estimate" from the status menu. You can skip the estimating step by selecting "approve estimate" after you've created your job, before we've given you an estimate. By doing so, you agree to pay the final price without receiving an estimate.

Once you've approved the price estimate, we begin preparing the job for production. This includes designing and typesetting artwork, if needed, and preflighting your job files. When you receive a proof of the art for your job, you can indicate your approval of the artwork by selecting "approve artwork" from the status menu. You can skip the proofing step by selecting "approve artwork" before you've received a proof. By doing so, you accept responsibility for any errors in the final artwork.

Before final production on your job begins, the price and artwork must be approved by you, and the job files must be preflighted and approved by us. You can see the approval status of you job at any time in the Approval Status box near the top of your job page (2).

After the price and artwork have been approved and we've preflighted your files, we'll put your job into production. If you need to put your job on hold temporarily, you may do so using the status menu. If you need to revise your job, first put it on hold, then select "revise job order" from the status menu. You will then be able to edit your job, but you'll need to re-approve any new estimate or proof made necessary by your changes.
